Mentorship

The AWCA Mentorship Programme was successfully launched and hosted by WIPHOLD in 2008

Mentors and mentees were allocated to each other and an introductory workshop was held and facilitated by Ernest and Young. The programme focuses on providing support to qualified CAs and trainee accountants while they seek to advance their careers. These quarterly interventions are held in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town.

The formal interaction of mentor and mentee was launched under the Power Tea theme in 2009 and was sponsored by Distell and WIPHOLD).  Power Teas aim is to provide environment of development in a relaxed environment while focusing on issues affecting women. The event boasts reputable key guest speakers from commerce and business.
