School Visits – Career Workshops

School visits are aimed at raising awareness of the CA profession and schools while seeking to identify girls who display an aptitude for accountancy.

In 2009 AWCA partnered with WIPHOLD to participate in their school visits as well – grade 11 and 12 – with over 4500 students benefiting from the programme. In 2010, AWCA visited 5 schools in 5 provinces to the benefit of 3,000 learners. In 2011 AWCA aims to expand its efforts and has already already targeted six schools.
